Teaching procedure
1. Greetings
2. Say something to the teachers.
启发学生:Hello, good morning. Nice to meet you.
3. Who are you? --- Ask students introduce themselves.
4. Who am I? ----Hobby--- Play games with my students.
5. Play a game ---- What is missing? --- teach the word: Find
6. Play another game ---- Where is the …?
7. Let’s chant.
l Look at the sentences on the screen.
l Listen to the rhythm.
l Practise the chant.
l Create your own chant.
Where? Where? Where’s the cake? Fridge, fridge, it’s in the fridge.
l Show a picture of Dad and let students create their own chant again. Try to use English freely.
l Where? Where? Where’s Dad? Study, Study, He’s in the study.
l Show a picture of Mum and create and practice the chant.
l Where? Where? Where’s Mum? Kitchen, kitchen, she’s in the kitchen.
8. Learn the text.
I can’t find Mum. Where’s she?
She’s in the kitchen.
Where’s the cake, Mum?
It’s in the kitchen.
l Look at the pictures. Listen and read.
l Reading practice by themselves.
l Reading practice. --- The teacher reads after the students.
9. Look at the picture and guess what they are talking about.
l Show pictures.
l Give the task. --- Guess
l Discuss with partners.
l Watch a short cartoon and try to find the correct answers.
l Check the answers.
l Listen and repeat.
l Do you know where the camera is? --- Answer according to the pictures and practice the sentence patterns over and over.
l Take out their textbook and read the text themselves.
l Reading practice --- The teacher just read after the students again.

10. 想一想,说一说
l 当你找不到某个人的时候,你可以怎么?对方可以怎么回答?
l 当你找不到某个东西的时候,你可以怎么说?对方可以怎么回答?
l Ask students to write these sentences on the blackboard.
l 将学生写的内容转换成板书。
11. Game: Ask and find ----游戏的过程,问:Who’s your English teacher? Where is she? 游戏能够紧扣教学内容。同时,关于游戏的呈现方法循序渐进。另外,游戏的设计非常巧妙。由:Where is Mr. Yang? 请了五位同学上台,将答案告诉这五位同学,让孩子们自己去问答。要点词汇和句型不断的在灵活的运用。
12. 再次进行游戏。I can’t find the watch. Where is it?
13. 作业布置----安排细致,真实情景,语言操练。

教学活动的目的性非常强,而且过渡自然。教师一开始向学生提问,让学生做自我介绍,然后,让孩子们向老师提问,了解老师的基本情况。其中第三个问题hobby,教师故意将hobby 定为play games with my students. 这样,就为下一环节play a game 做好铺垫。在What’s missing? 这一游戏中,通过游戏,教学语言点----包括单词和句型。而且,将这一切融入真实的情境之中。
